This is the first wave of product due to hit stores worldwide in January 2015. Please note this is a rumour list and it could all change so nothing will be confirmed till the LEGO group officially reveal products themselves. This list is the product range for mass retail and doesn’t include store exclusives.

New Microfighters from the well received pocket money range of super deformed iconic vehicles each with it’s own exclusive mini figure.

Microfighters

  • 75072 ARC-170 Starfighter™
  • 75073 Vulture Droid™
  • 75074 Snowspeeder™
  • 75075 AT-AT™
  • 75076 Republic Gunship™
  • 75077 Homing Spider Droid™

Normal scale sets

  • 75079 Shadow Troopers
  • 75080 AAT™
  • 75081 T-16 Skyhopper

Star Wars Rebels

  • 75090 Ezra’s Speeder Bike™
  • 75082 TIE Advanced Prototype
  • 75083 AT-DP™
  • 75084 Wookiee™ Gunship

15 new sets in January? Looks like LEGO are still going full tilt with their support for the line and there are still store exclusives to be added to this list, it’s good to see more ships fromStar Wars Rebels, we already have the Ghost and Phantom on store shelves and I’m sure they will continue to ship through 2015 as the show continues to air on Disney XD and lead us up to Episode VII in the winter. We wonder if there will be a summer product range like normal and then a third December product release for Episode VII like they have done the past two years and this year prior to the Hobbit trilogy movies?

DC COMICS Super Heroes – LEGO The Tumbler #76023

Courtesy of bricknews.co.uk

Coming out on Sept 1st is The Tumbler, from Batman™ The Dark Knight Trilogy, in LEGO form featuring new front wheels plus new Batman™ and Joker minifigures available exclusively in this set.  Priced at $199.99, £159.99 in the UK, it features 1,869 pieces and we have it in hand now with some exclusive pictures and info (thanks to our friends at LEGO)…

This looks like an amazing build, it comes in a huge box (similar in size to the recent Sandcrawler) and features five  instructions manuals and 1,869 pieces spread over 18 bags (numbered 1 – 11 which corresponds to the number of steps to build The Tumbler, meaning some steps have multiple bags).

The first page of the first instruction manual gets you building the Joker minifigure and you have to wait till the last stage (11) on page 37 of the fifth manual to build the Batman minifigure.  The finished Tumbler measures over 5” (15cm) high, 15” (40cm) long and 9” (24cm) wide but I’ve got a way to go before I get to that!  My only real issue so far is the number of stickers, but apart from that I can’t wait to get stuck in!

You can pre-order the Tumbler now directly from LEGO and VIP members may get early access from the middle of August – happy building!

LEGO and Volvo partner to create 6 cylinder wheel loader

For the first time in history, toy giant LEGO and Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) have joined forces to create a motorised LEGO Technic L350F Volvo Wheel Loader.

Hitting shelves on 1st August 2014, the yellow remote controlled marvel in Volvo livery, not only drives, steers, lifts but also loads just like its real life high-tech 55 tonne equivalent. Fuelling your imagination further, the LEGO Technic Wheel Loader also converts into an equally impressive articulated A25F Volvo Hauler.
